Software Zero Waitlist
Privacy Policy & Consent — Production v2.0
Part 1 — Privacy Policy
This policy covers only the Software Zero waitlist — the page where you give your name and email so we can tell you about Software Zero as we build it. There is no product to log into yet. When Software Zero launches, we will publish a fuller policy for the product itself.
Who we are
Software Zero is being built by Hidden AI Solutions LLC, an Ohio single-member limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”). “Software Zero” is a working title and may change; if it does, you are still dealing with the same company, and this policy still applies.
Who the waitlist is for
The waitlist is open only to people in the United States who are 18 or older. When you sign up, you confirm both of those things. We do not offer it outside the United States, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you are outside the U.S., please do not sign up.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect exactly this:
- your name;
- your email address; and
- your consent — a record that you checked the two boxes (confirming you are a U.S. adult and that you want our emails), along with the date and time.
We also store a short source label (for example, “instagram”) so we know which channel a signup came from; it holds no personal information, just the channel. That is the complete list. We do not collect your IP address, your device or browser details, your location, or anything else. There is no account, no password, and no payment.
What we don’t do
- No cookies and no tracking. This page sets no cookies and runs no trackers, pixels, or analytics of any kind — no Meta Pixel, no Google tag, no TikTok pixel, no analytics scripts.
- No selling or sharing. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising. We never will.
- No AI training. We do not collect, use, or sell your information to train large language models or any other AI systems.
- No bought lists. Your information reaches us only because you typed it in yourself.
- No text messages. We only ask for your email. We won’t text you.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because we don’t track you across sites and don’t sell or share your information, there is nothing for a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We don’t respond to those browser signals — not to ignore your wishes, but because we simply don’t do the tracking they are designed to stop.
How we use your information
We use your name and email for one purpose: to send you occasional updates about Software Zero — how the build is going and, when the time comes, how to get access. That is it. If we ever want to email you about something unrelated to Software Zero, we will ask your permission first.
Who can see it, and where it’s stored
Your information is stored with Cloudflare, a U.S.-based company that provides our hosting, database, and encrypted backups, as our infrastructure provider. Apart from Cloudflare, the only person who can see the waitlist is the owner of Hidden AI Solutions LLC, through a login-protected admin screen. No one else has access — no other staff, no partners, no advertisers. When we later start sending emails, we will use an email-delivery service and name that provider here before the first email goes out.
How long we keep it
We keep your signup until either:
- you ask us to remove you (see “Your choices”); or
- Software Zero winds down — we discontinue the project, close the business, or sell it.
If Software Zero launches, we will email the list and let you choose whether to keep hearing from us. We won’t quietly roll your waitlist signup into something you didn’t agree to.
If the business changes hands
If Software Zero or Hidden AI Solutions LLC is sold or merges with another company, your name and email may transfer to the new owner as part of that deal. The new owner has to honor this policy, or ask for your consent again before using your information differently. That is the only situation in which your information moves to another company — and it is not the same as selling your data to advertisers or brokers, which we don’t do.
Your choices
- Get off the list. Email us at privacy@softwarezero.net and we’ll remove you. (One-click unsubscribe is coming; until then email is the way, and we’ll act on it promptly.)
- See or correct what we have. Email the same address and we’ll tell you what we hold, or fix it.
- State privacy rights. Depending on where you live in the U.S., you may have the right to access or delete your information. Since all we hold is your name, email, and consent record, “delete” simply means we remove you.
To make any of these requests, email us from the address you signed up with, so we can be sure it’s you. We won’t ask for more than we need to verify you, and we won’t treat you differently for exercising any of these choices. We keep a record of privacy requests and how we handled them for at least 24 months, as some laws require.
When you ask us to remove you, we delete your name and email from our active list and from our backups — you are gone from both. The only thing we keep is a short, non-identifying note that a removal was made and when, so we can show we honored your request.
Security
We protect your information with reasonable measures: it travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS), it is encrypted where it is stored, the admin screen sits behind a login, our database uses parameterized queries, and the page has rate limiting and standard security headers. No method of storage or transmission is ever 100% secure, but because we deliberately collect so little — just a name and an email — there is very little to expose.
Children
The waitlist is for adults. It isn’t directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 signed up, we will delete their information; and if we ever learn a user is under 13, we will delete it and remove them right away. If you believe a minor signed up, email us and we will take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the “last updated” date and the version number at the top. If we ever start doing something materially different with your information, we will tell the people on the list.
Governing law
This policy and your use of the waitlist are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA.
